"My first two world records! In my 50's!"

“Just like you Jerry, I am a swimmer and I too love my sport. Having recently set my first two world records in my 50's I want to keep improving. So when you wrote a book titled ‘Intentionally Well’ of course, I wanted as much information as possible to train more efficiently and get the most out of my workouts. While my favorite was the Exercise and Metabolism chapter and how to re-engineer both muscle and fat cells for physical performance, I quickly realized there was a lot more to your book, little did I know that your book went way beyond swimming and physical training. Your book is about mental training and how to guide myself through the emotional responses generated by everyday living. I learned was how to sleep better, how to recover faster, and how to live better, and more importantly, how to protect my sleep. I also learned the importance of gut health for high-intensity training.  I now realize my ability to set a world record is not just found in the 5% of what I experience during training but more importantly the other 95% of my day. While my initial thought was to improve as an athlete, your book will help me improve as a person. As I enhance my ability to live intentionally well, my training has vastly improved. I absolutely love the book. I absolutely love my sport even more than I did before I read your book. Would I recommend your book? Absolutely!
